Uuummmmm...Doggy Did It?

Hi Mom. Um, the doggy pulled all the toilet paper off the roll...yeah that's it. Doggy did it.
Sorry, T. Normally Mommy would believe that story, but she caught you in the act this time.

It is a good thing you are this cute...how could Mommy ever get mad at a face like this? I love you my son...even when you are naughty. :)

"No Touch"

Now that we have an almost one year old, we've had to start implementing some rules. "No Touch" has started in our house with a few different things. One is Mommy's plants, another is Daddy's electronics, and the last are Cooper's water and food dishes.
"No touch, Torin." Mommy says.
Sigh...it is a work in progress. A very slow work in progress. :)

Helping Mommy

This is how you do laundry. I help Mommy take all the clothes from the washer and put them in the dryer. Then Mommy closes the dryer door to start it and I get mad and whine at her because I wasn't done playing yet. So she lets me dig around in the washing machine until I'm satisfied. "Oh the life with an almost one year old," Mommy says...whatever that means. Sigh.

Helping Daddy

As you can see in the background, about 1/3 of our lawn has died from mites. We have now ripped out all of the dead grass and new sod is coming this week. Paul was outside watering some of the edges of living grass and Torin just had to help. He is such a big helper these days. So we stripped him down to his diaper and both he and the lawn got a good soaking.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Dads! Us Moms couldn't do it without you! Well this Mom couldn't do it without Torin's Daddy!

Pool Time

I love my new pool and spending time outside. It is one of my favorite things to do now.
Getting a kiss from my number 1 favorite thing...Cooper.
Peek-A-Boo, Mommy!
Our boys...

Come on by for a pool party any time friends!

Cousins

The Atherton family came up for some Santiagos this past week and we got an updated picture of the boys. I have a similar photo when Noah was three, Ethan 4 months and Torin 4 weeks. These boys have grown quite a bit since then!

Noah and Paul snuggled up to watch Shrek.
Noah plays so well with both Ethan and Torin. He is such a good big brother and cousin.

Hi Mommy

I put T down for his nap a couple of days ago and all of a sudden I hear this banging noise and then laughing from his room. I grabbed the flip video and captured this...

I am so in love with this little boy. By the way...nap time didn't happen until late afternoon this day!

Walking

So our little 10 month old has decided to walk now. One of the videos (with me) is at Grandpa and Grandma Bartmann's house on his 10 month birthday (6/7/09) and the second video (with Daddy) is from today (6/16/09). He has started letting go of things and walking to other toys around the living room. He is getting SO BIG!

Week in Review

On Wednesday and Thursday our old next door neighbors, Ryan, Erica and Clive came to visit from Dallas. Torin and Clive are three weeks apart and were a good match for one another.

On Wednesday, June 10, Paul and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary.
On Sunday, June 7, this adorable baby turned 10 months old!

More Great Shots...

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Bartmann and Herding for letting us stay with you for two weeks! We had a blast!

On Sunday

On Sunday and Monday I ended my trip to South Dakota at Grandma and Grandpa Bartmann's house. Here is Zoey showing me one of Kayla's kittens. I sure do like those kittens!
We were supposed to fly home on Monday but I ended up getting sick with a double ear infection so we postponed our flight until Tuesday so my medicine could kick in. We are back home with Daddy now though!

On Saturday

On Saturday we had Gamma's 50th birthday party. She turned 50 on Monday the 8th. Gamma even shared her ice cream cake with me. MMMMM....
I licked those fingers clean!
Happy Birthday, Mom!

On Friday 6/5/09

On Friday, Skyler and I hung out at Gamma and Gampa Herding's house and played toys all afternoon. I had lots of fun playing with 'big boy' toys!

Today...on Wednesday

Today we went shopping with Grandma Herding and Great Aunt Karen and also got to play with Skyler. He even let me play with his Thomas the Train tent. Isn't it cool?
Here is the proof...I'm crawling out of the tent. Daddy, you would be so proud of me. I can't wait to show you when I get home. I miss you!
Me and Skyler playing in the tent.

On Monday

On Monday we hung out with Grandma Bartmann for the day and ran some errands. Here we are in the evening at the Bait Shop eating dinner. Mommy taught me how to play pool...sort of! That is a job for Daddy.
It was really windy out but Grandma took me out on the swings. I love to swing.
We were able to go see Kayla's baby kittens. I LOVED those...a little too much maybe. I still don't know how to be gentle with things that are littler than me.
Here is Mommy helping me pet a baby kitten.
It was so nice of Kayla to show me her kittens. She is doing a really good job of taking care of them.
I am crawling everywhere now from room to room and even under Grandma's furniture. I have also been taking 4-5 steps on my own now the past couple of days. I might be returning to Colorado a walker and a crawler!

On Sunday Afternoon

Sunday afternoon was a busy one before Daddy left for Colorado. We hung out at Grandpa and Grandma Bartmann's house and Uncle Greg, Aunt Sarah and Kayla came to hang out.
Here I am playing in the sand box for the first time with Grandma, Greg and Sarah.
My first mouth full of sand. Tasty...
Sarah and I couldn't get the picture figured out so here is Sarah with her eyes open and...
here I am with my eyes open. Anyway, both are cute photos!
Daddy is giving me another ride on the lawnmower. I love these things!
