Playing with Hope and Kayla

Here is my Cousin Kayla holding me at Pizza Ranch where we went out to eat after family pictures on Monday. She made funny faces at me and I laughed and laughed.

Hope tried the same thing and got me to smile too! I was pretty cranky during picture taking because it was SO HOT in front of all the lights. Mom dressed me in a really warm shirt and sweater which made me uncomfortable. After the family photos, the photographer took pictures of just me...naked :)...and I loved it because I wasn't hot any more!

Meeting Hope, Mesa and Zoey

I also got to meet all of my girl cousins on the Bartmann side this weekend. Here I am with three of them (L to R)...Hope, Me, Zoey and Mesa.
You'll notice I was wearing my Viking jersey that Uncle Greg got me and the Vikes won big time this past Sunday! Go Vikings!

Playing with Cousin Skyler

I played lots with Cousin Skyler this weekend at Grandpa and Grandma Herding's house. Thanks Skyler for sharing all of your toys with me!

Heading Home

Torin and I are flying back home to South Dakota tomorrow for the week of Thanksgiving. Paul will be driving out a few days later since he can't take off as much time from work. We will update the blog when we return. Torin will have his first plane ride, first Thanksgiving, and get baptized all in one week. I'm sure we will have lots of pictures to share!

Eczema...UGGGHH!

After being up every 45 minutes on Monday and Tuesday night, Paul and I decided Torin needed to go back to the doctor because something wasn't right. He again has a terrible eczema break-out and the doctor thought he wasn't sleeping well because it was bothering him so much. We are back on the steroid cream, heavy lotion, and even are giving a little Benadryl at night for the itching. Last night was much better and he was up only twice to eat. He seems much happier already this morning, so hopefully he is on the mend. On a positive...our little chunky monkey now weighs 15lbs. even! Not bad for only 15 weeks old! The pediatrician says he is perfectly healthy other than the eczema. Our 4 month well-check is on Dec. 5th.

My Rattle -14 Weeks

I love playing with toys. I'm awake a lot more now during the day and I will play on the floor for up to an hour at a time with all my toys. Mom says I'm growing up way too fast.

Tummy Time

Here I am working really hard at holding my head up. I get frustrated pretty easily, but I can hold it up longer and longer every day.

Playing with Toys

13 weeks/3 months

Where has the time gone? On Friday Torin turned three months old. I was looking back at pictures from August and can't believe how big he has gotten. I don't have my newborn anymore...I have a baby who is playing with toys now! We are loving every moment with him and can't wait to see the changes he makes over the next three months.

Ready for Winter

Mom and I went shopping today and picked out a winter hat, mittens, and car seat cover to keep me warm. I still need a coat and/or snow suit but Mom hasn't found one she likes yet.

Priceless Smiles and Laughs

Each day I think it is impossible to love my baby anymore than I already do, but then I have days like today where all he does is smile and laugh all day long. I cannot express in words the amount of love I have for this little boy and his daddy.

Walks with Mommy

It has been gorgeous outside here this past week with temps in the 70s. We took advantage of the weather and went on a walk today. Torin LOVES being outside and going for walks. He was chatting and smiling away the whole time we were outside.

Milestones

Okay, so I'm figuring out that I can hold things in my hands now but...
I go to put my hands in my mouth and I hit myself in the face with the toy!
I guess I'll keep working on this toy thing...I sure do like being able to hold things on my own though.

Trick-or-Treating

Daddy ended up getting the flu, so Mommy and I handed out candy to all of the trick-or-treaters. Next year I'll be able to go trick-or-treating!
I sure was tired at the end of the night. I wish these kids would stop ringing to doorbell so I can go to bed.

Happy Halloween!

Grandma's Visit

We showed you the pictures that Grandma took of me, but here is the proof she was actually here! These were taken the morning Grandma left for the airport...I'm still waking up in one of them.
