Happy Easter!

Did the Easter Bunny make it to your house?

 

He made it to ours and delivered enough candy to keep our kids up till 9:30 tonight and only one napped today!

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter filled with love, joy and chocolate just like ours was.

Lightning McQueen and Buzz Lightyear are Roommates!

Have you heard the news?  Lightning McQueen and Buzz Lightyear are now roommates!  After much thought and hesitation by their managers, an agreement was made and now they are bunk buddies.

 Lightning McQueen sleeps on the top because he is the fastest.

 Buzz Lightyear sleeps on the bottom because his wings are only plastic and we'd hate for him to fly off the top and get hurt on the floor.

 Buzz has been doing a really good job being in a big boy bed so far, but only stays in his bed if Lightning McQueen is there to protect him.

 Lightning McQueen has been an awesome top bunk mate thus far, loving the fact he gets to 'control' who can climb up and down the ladder to his bed.

 Buzz has even slept through the night three different nights in the past ten days which NEVER happens.  

This may just be a match made in heaven.

April Fool's Day Weather

The weather has been extremely warm here this Spring already, so we've been enjoying the outdoors to the fullest.

Last Sunday we took out the sand and water table and the sprinkler to have some fun in the water.

 We even took our pants off to enjoy the weather (mostly because they were soaked from the water).

 We wore our hats and put on sunscreen to help block the sun.

 Ella chose to play in the shade to relieve herself from the heat.

 Torin took an entirely different approach and stripped down to run through the sprinkler.

It was just another Sunday afternoon at our house!

Making Easter Cookies

Anne, Ethan and Olivia came over this past Tuesday to make Easter cookies and hang out. We attempted an idea off pinterest and it didn't turn out as well as we'd hoped, but the kids still had a great time and the cookies tasted great!

"Don't Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful..."

"...or because I can finally fit all of my hair in a pony tail..."

"...or because Mommy asks me to smile for a picture with Daddy and I stick my tongue out..."

"...or because I can give the 'look' that makes Mommy and Daddy already worry about my teenage years and I'm only 1."



"Nope, you can't hate me for any of these reasons at all."
