Golfing With The Boys

After several attempts, I finally spent Sunday afternoon golfing with Nate, Kurt, and Ranek. Carrie hung out with Debbie and Ava while we were out playing. Getting Nate on the golf course has been such a rare event, I determined we needed some video documentation to prove he was there. Enjoy.

Work Baby Shower

This past Wednesday, May 14th, the ladies from work hosted my first baby shower. It was a wonderful day and we received lots of clothes and supplies for our little guy. Thanks so much Kristen, Janelle and Christie for putting on the shower. (They even had a chocolate fountain to dip food in along with cake, punch and other goodies! YUM!!!)

Anne and Carrie Last Photos

These photos were taken back on May 7th before we went out to dinner at Santiago's with the hopes that the spicy food would put Anne into labor. This is me 25 weeks pregnant and Anne 39 weeks pregnant. The food didn't work right away, but on May 9th Anne gave birth to Ethan Joshua. I'm sad that I no longer have my pregnant buddy, but am so happy that both Ethan and Anne are doing well. I hope to be in the same spot in three short months.
Congratulations Atherton family on your newest addition to the family. We can't wait for Noah, Ethan, and Baby Boy Bartmann to play together.

Grad School is DONE!

Yesterday was my last official class for grad school and I have submitted all my paperwork for graduation in August. It is so awesome to know that I don't have to attend Monday and Tuesday night classes anymore! I actually can go home after work instead of going to school two nights a week! The professors now have four weeks to review our portfolios and on June 2nd we all have to defend our portfolios for graduation. Other than that I have four weeks of teaching in July and I will have my master's degree! It has been a long two years getting this accomplished, but now that it is done it feels amazing! I have to thank my wonderful husband for putting up with the stressed out Me the past couple of weeks to get this portfolio complete. Now I can focus on finishing the school year and becoming a Mom!

Baby's Room Update

24 week doctor's appointment

I just got home from my doctor's appointment and the little guy is still looking healthy. His heart rate is a steady 158 bpm and he is still measuring about a week ahead. My next appointment in 3 weeks is to test for diabetes and then I will have another appointment a week after that to go over the results (28 week appt). Everything is looking good and I'm feeling good too. Now I just have to finish this Master's Degree and the stress will go away!

Flip Video Ultra

We got a little video camera to share updates and keep people posted on JR's progress. You can check it out at http://www.theflip.com/. It compresses the file a little to post on the website, but I really like it! We were debating on buying an expensive (probably HD) recorder, when my friend Chris came out to visit and brought his Flip Video. This helped us decided most of the things we will film can just be shared on the net.
