Two Weeks Old!

Torin is two weeks old today! He had his two week checkup today and is overall very healthy except for his weight. He still only weighs 7lbs. 1oz, so the doctor has put him on an eating schedule this next week to see if he can get back to atleast his birth weight of 7lbs. 7 oz. in the next week. We are meeting with a lactation consultant/nutritionist on Monday and we will see how much he has gained over the weekend on this new schedule. If he has gained then we don't need to see the doctor until his two month checkup...if he still hasn't gained we will be back to the doctor at the end of next week. So his two week measurements show he is 20 1/4 inches in length, which is the 50th percentile on the growth chart, his head measures 14 1/4 inches, also 50th percentile, and his weight 7lbs. 1 oz. is in the 10th percentile. The doctor isn't super concerned at this point since he is such a content baby, but definitely wants his weight up in the next week. So we are praying that this new schedule will work and our little man can gain some ounces (even a pound!).
