I met someone who would forever change my life.
Five years ago today, I met someone who would become my best friend.
Five years ago today, I met someone who would promise to always be honest and open with me even if I wouldn't like the answer.
Five years ago today, I met a man who would drive through a blizzard to be by my side for my grandfather's funeral.
Five years ago today, I met a man I would fall in love with.
Five years ago today, I met a man I would trust enough to move away from all my family and friends for fear I would lose the best thing that had ever happened to me.
Five years ago today, I met a man who would put a ring in my cheesecake, get down on one knee and promise to love me unconditionally for the rest of my life.
Five years ago today, I met a man who would embrace my independence, challenge my thinking, calm my fears, and believe in my dreams.
Five years ago today, I met the man I would marry.
Five years ago today, I met the man who would stand by my side through every obstacle that would stand in our way.
Five years ago today, I met the man who would hold my hand as the doctor explained why I was having trouble getting pregnant and all the steps it would take to have a baby.
Five years ago today, I met the man whose shoulder I would cry on when life wouldn't go according to plan.
Five years ago today, I met the man I would pray with before I would fall asleep at night.
Five years ago today, I met the man I would tell would be the father of my baby.
Five years ago today, I met the man who would say nothing when my crazy pregnant lady moments would show up and tell me I was beautiful in everything I would wear.
Five years ago today, I met the man who would become the father of my son.
Five years ago today, I met the man who would tell me almost every day what a good mom I am and how beautiful his baby boy is.
Five years ago today without me knowing it, my life became complete.
To the best husband and father a girl could ask for...I love you! CB

Tired from playing
Me and Cousin Ethan
Ethan and I were playing on the floor together today after church. He is almost exactly three months older than me so he can roll around and grab toys already. I'm not quite big enough for that yet, but I am working really hard at holding my head up on my own. It won't be long before the two of us are making our Mom's chase us around everywhere!
Fall Leaves
Mom and Grandma had me out in the front yard today laying in the leaves for a photo op. Grandma got much better pictures than Mom did, so she'll have to send Mom some of hers. I loved the leaves though! I liked the crunching sound they made, so I kicked around in them for a while since it was so nice outside here this weekend.

2 Month Doctor's Appointment
We had Torin's 2 month check-up today (although he is 10 1/2 weeks) and he is doing great! Here are the stats:
Height - 23 inches - 45th percentile
Weight - 13lbs. 5 oz. - 75th percentile
Head Circumference - 16 1/2 inches - 75th percentile
So from his 2 week well check, he has moved from 50th percentile in height to 45th percentile and in weight from 10th percentile to 75th percentile. The doctor says he is getting some good nutrition! After a very long conversation with the doctor we did end up giving T his shots as well so he is quite sore this evening poor baby :( His next appointment will be his 4 month well check as long as he stays healthy! Paul and I are so blessed and thank God every day for our healthy, happy baby boy.

Happy Birthday, Cooper!
We can't forget about our first 'baby' on his birthday! Cooper is four years old today and adjusting quite well to Torin being in our house. He definitely gets less attention, but loves to lay by his little brother and protect him all the time. What he isn't so good with are Torin's toys. He hasn't figured out the difference between his toys and Torin's toys. I think we will be working on that one for quite a while...and washing A LOT of toys! Happy Birthday, Coop! We love you!

9 weeks
I can't believe Torin is 9 1/2 weeks old already! Time is flying by and each day it seems he is doing something new now. He is interacting so much more with Paul and I now and is putting himself on a great feeding and sleeping schedule. He goes down between 8 and 9 P.M. and gets up to eat between 1 and 1:30 A.M. and 5 and 5:30 A.M. I really only get up once a night now since I have to work at 7, I'm up at 5:30 anyway.

Tired Boy and Story Time
T wanted to show everybody how much he likes his tongue and how cute his smile is, so here ya go!
This is our bedtime routine. Rubbing eyes, yawns, and smiles!
Homebrew update
With all the baby stuff going on, I have neglected to update people on my home brewing endeavors! This is Sean and me working on our 4th batch. This one is a milk stout, and judging from the taste I had at bottling, this one has some potential! This video is a couple weeks ago. We have since bottled, and are currently waiting for the bottles to carbonate (2-3 weeks) before we can enjoy the beer!
By the way Joe, Jason, Greg, and Dad- the IPA I brought home last time is now ready to drink. Don't forget I left a few bottles in Greg's old room!

Not all Fun and Games
T and I just wanted to remind the grandmas and grandpas that this parenting thing isn't all fun and games. It seems that there is also some work involved!! (with torin, it seems this "work" comes around about every 2-3 hours)

So Tired
8 weeks
Here I am hanging out during tummy time. I really love tummy time but Mom caught me at the end of it right before I fall asleep.
