Halloween Gifts

Torin received some presents in the mail from the grandpas and grandmas this week. We do so enjoy getting goodies in the mail.
Yummy, Yummy! These animal crackers are so good!
And, of course, I shared with Cooper.

Thank you so much Grandpa and Grandma Bartmann and Herding!

Snow Day!

Yes, we are in October and yes, we did get double digit inches of snow this week. Paul got a few good workouts in shoveling the driveway on Thursday.
We did get a snow day and enjoyed hanging out with neighbors since we were snowed in.
Hopefully this doesn't mean we are in for a long winter. Torin is already itching to go to the park.

On the Farm...

While we were home for a couple of weeks for the funerals, we were able to get some good farm time in. Torin LOVES being on the farm and riding in the tractors and combines. He BRROOOMS everything with a steering wheel so he loved getting to be in the big 'broom brooms'.
It is all smiles when we get to be outside.
Uncle Greg gave me lots of tractor rides.
I also got to walk in all the mud and water.
We took a break and went into Great-Grandma Bartmann's house for some really good cookies. YUM!
Grandpa let me help him drive the combine.
Uncle Greg let me 'BRROOOM' in his truck for a while.
Overall, I think I'm made to be a farm boy.
I was a big help to Grandpa while he was on the phone. I even 'helped' lower the bucket on the tractor. Good thing Grandpa realized I was moving all the gears!
See Grandpa, this is how you 'BBBRRROOOOM'!
Uncle Joe carried me around and showed me lots of different tractors on the farm.
Just finishing up my tractor rides with Uncle Greg while Mommy watched.
Thanks so much Grandma Kelly for sending us these photos! They are fantastic!

Rest in Peace

On October 7, 2009, my Grandpa (Torin's Great-Grandpa) passed away. Grandpa checked this blog frequently to see how his 'Little Rip' was doing. We will miss you greatly, Grandpa!

Rest in Peace

On October 6, 2009, Paul's Grandma (Torin's Great-Grandma) passed away at 89 years of age. We have many photos like the one below of Torin holding his Great-Grandma's hand. We will miss you, Grandma!

Updates to Come...

I apologize for the lack of posts this month. October has been a crazy rollercoaster ride for the Bartmann family. We will have updates soon with pictures, I promise.

All in a Day's Work

Mommy and I were very busy last Monday afternoon. Mommy was busy doing my laundry while I...
...decided that the Kleenix box needed to be reorganized.
They just don't fold those Kleenix properly in that box anymore so I thought Mommy should fold them the right way and put them back in the box.
Mommy was busy cutting up potatoes for dinner while I...
...decided to give Cooper and myself a snack of Kix cereal so Mommy wouldn't have to worry about feeding us dinner right away. The snack held us over for a while.
We did our very best to eat as many as we could, but in the end Mommy said she'd sweep the rest of them up since she was 'going to sweep the kitchen floor for the second time that day anyway.'
Like I said, Monday was a very busy day for Mommy and me.

Old Toys Made New Again

We get to watch our neighbor's little girl, Hope, who is 5 months old every Tuesday. We have gotten some of Torin's baby toys back out again and he is loving playing with his 'old' toys. He carries around the play mat everywhere.
