Happy Birthday Carrie!

Today is Carrie's 26th birthday! We spent the morning doing a little more painting in baby's room before I had to go to work. We are going out to dinner tonite with the Ribbings (and Athertons, and Smiths, and Aunt Nancy) because it is Anne's 27th birthday today too.

23rd week belly pictures

Yep, he's huge! I just looked back at 7 weeks ago when I posted my 16 week belly pictures and you really couldn't tell I was pregnant. 7 weeks later...everyone knows I'm pregnant. Going on 6 months already, I can't believe how fast pregnancy has gone. He is extremely active especially at night between 9 and 11 P.M. It is starting to get more uncomfortable sleeping...I guess pregnancy does really prepare you for not sleeping much once the baby is born.

Baby's Room

After a few loving (but stern!) reminders from Carrie that August really isn't that far away, I decided it was time for me to start painting the baby's room. For those that don't know, we decided to do a Dr. Seuss themed nursery. Here's the first mural! This one is right above where the crib will be. More to come in following weeks......

Carrie borrowed an over-head projector from school, and also copied pages from our books onto transparencies. (I'm not quite that good of an artist.)

22 Weeks and Counting!

Time is flying by with this pregnancy. I can't believe I'm 22 weeks along already. I'm feeling great and am fortunate to be having such a wonderful pregnancy thus far. Paul is up in the mountains for a couple of days getting in his last snowboarding of the season. His good friend and former college roommate, Chris H., is out visiting from Minneapolis, so the guys are enjoying the fresh powder that the mountains have gotten today. I will have Paul take a couple more belly photos when he gets home. You can definitely tell I'm pregnant now. This little man keeps growing and growing! I can't wait to meet him in a few months.

Friends from Vegas

One major reason we decided on Vegas was to see Lindsay, one of my best friends from college, and her boyfriend, Bobby. We were able to hang out on both Saturday and Sunday and had a great time both on and off the strip. Thanks so much Lindsay and Bobby for making our trip so much fun!

Las Vegas Trip

Paul and I decided to take our last trip together before the little man arrives this past weekend. We found cheap tickets to Vegas and decided to get away for a few days. We had an awesome time and the weather was beautiful.

Here we are on the strip out with our good friends Bobby and Lindsay. Behind us people are playing beer pong. We were introduced to beer pong when we moved to Colorado and didn't realize it was such a universal game. I guess moving from the Midwest, we are behind on these drinking games!

Bobby and Lindsay were able to get us rooms at Treasure Island on the strip for our three night stay. Thanks so much Bobby and Lindsay!

IT'S A BOY!!!

Carrie and I had our 20 week visit today, and found out we have a little boy on the way!! He is a very active little guy, and the doctor had a tough time getting some of the pics she wanted. We also got a video, but I am having trouble getting it posted. I will keep trying.....but for now, here are a few pictures!
